Who We Are
Building Champions On and Off the Field
Our Mission
We love lacrosse. The game has helped us become strong players and teammates and has given us an opportunity to meet and understand people across the world. We believe that playing lacrosse doesn't just give you on-field skills, but also builds the tools for success off the field.
We want to instill in your player a set of values that they will be able to take with them and use as they grow up, regardless of what sports they play or direction they take in life.
We strive to make our players better both on and off the field. While we are committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game, all of our programs also focus on teaching values. We pride ourselves on our focus on accountability, humility, teamwork, family values, winning with class and accepting defeat with honor.
Our coaches know how much this game has done for them, and the OC Rebels are committed to bringing these same opportunities to future generations throughout our community.
OC Rebels Lacrosse History
The Rebels have deep roots in the Orange County lacrosse community and the city of Lake Forest, specifically. Starting in 1991, the El Toro Rebels were among the original lacrosse clubs in Orange County. Run by a dedicated group of parents and coaches, the El Toro Rebels taught the game to a handful of players looking for a new sport - including Coach Greg.
Coaches Greg, Adam and the rest of their family was heavily involved in the El Toro Rebels from the early 1990's, and as lacrosse grew in popularity, the name Rebels fell away as high school programs began adopting teams.
In 2012, as more high schools programs were popping up, the OC Rebels was reborn, with a focus on building youth lacrosse throughout the Saddleback Valley and greater Orange County.
Over the past 24 years, the OC Rebels has grown immensely, becoming one of the largest youth lacrosse clubs in Orange County.
